For the second time in as many years, cadets from Massachusetts Bay Division marched in Watertown's annual Memorial Day parade. The biggest difference was the number of cadets -- the unit has doubled in size since last year's parade!
Led by the unit's 5-person Color Guard, the cadets marched behind our good friends in the Pvt. Charles Shutt Detachment and attended a reception at the Shutt's home on Mt. Auburn Street. A great day was had by all.
Memorial Day is about remembering our veterans, celebrating their service and honoring those who fell in battle. All of us came away with an even greater respect and appreciation for their sacrifice.
