Commissioning Ceremony to be on Sept. 14

Friday, August 15, 2008

On Sunday, September 14, Massachusetts Bay Division will be commissioned into the Naval Sea Cadet Corps with a proper military ceremony, to be held at Integrated Support Command Boston.  The commissioning ceremony will mark the formal entrance of the unit into the ranks of active Sea Cadet units.

The official party will include representatives from the Naval Sea Cadet Corps, the Navy League, and the U.S. Coast Guard.

Because of the commissioning event, new recruit orientations will not be scheduled on Sunday, August 14.  If you are interested in joining the Naval Sea Cadet Corps in Boston, please contact us now to set up an appointment for Sunday, August 24, or for our first October drill.

Members of the Sea Cadet community in New England (especially those who have helped us reach this milestone) may attend the ceremony with the permission of the Commanding Officer.  If you would like to attend, please contact LTJG Landry by email.
