Annual Inspection brings high marks and review

Sunday, February 24, 2008

Massachusetts Bay Division completed its first full year of service with a very successful Annual Inspection.  The unit earned a high inspection score and outstanding reviews from LCDR Dave Carchia, New England regional director, and Mrs. Genevieve Guimond, Chairwoman of the sponsoring committee.

Notable among the inspection's graded categories, Massachusetts Bay Division scored a perfect 4.0 for its outstanding cadet training program, and another 4.0 for the cadets' sharp appearance in uniform during a tough personnel inspection.

Also, the division's Parents' Auxiliary, led by cadet parent Mrs. Ruth Govoni, held its first meeting.  LCDR Carchia and LTJG Landry thanked the parents for their support and, in return, the parents promised continued work for the program on behalf of their children.

Every one of the unit's 18 cadets took part.  For photos of the day's events, check out this link.
